I haven't really had any time to update my blog since I've been here. It's pretty sad that my last post was in January. The CP has been amazing. I've met so many wonderful friends. I have worked and average of 38 hours a week. Next week begins easter weekend, and I'm scheduled for 52 hours. Since I last posted, so much has happened, not necessarily good things either, but they have nothing to do with the CP, just life in general.
February was great, I made so many new friends, learned a lot at work and my boyfriend came down to visit.
March wasn't so great. It made me want to pack up my bags and move back home. It started off really good, but then I had a kidney stone, and it seemed like everything went down hill after that. I had a kidney stone that started on the 5th, I still went to work and my managers were really nice and gave me an ROS(release of shift). Luckily I had a couple days off after that to recover. I went to the doctor and got some meds and seemed to be fine. I returned back to work. That next week, I had a really bad day at work on the 14th. I'm not sure why. My boyfriend and his family drove down that day to visit for a week. In hopes of making my day better, I was going to meet them at their hotel room after work(since I hadnt seen my boyfriend in a month, and his family in 2 months). On my way over there, I was getting off of the interstate and was hit by a car on my drivers side and pushed into another car which I hit on my passengers side. The car that my car was pushed into lost control of his car and nosedived into a lake. We were both ok, but the car who hit me and caused the whole wreck ran off. Though it was classified as a hit and run, apparently I'm still at fault(because the guy who caused the whole wreck ran off). Now my insurance has to pay for both mine and his totaled cars.... My family and my boyfriend's family we're both visiting at that time. I had a few days off work, so I tried to enjoy my vacation. My boyfriend's grandparents came in to visit me that next week. Things were going great until I came home one day, and passed out in my living room, I woke up and couldnt move. Of course I was to stubborn to call an ambulance or ask someone to take me to the doctor. My parents drove down here from Alabama that next day and forced me to go to the hospital. I was in the hospital for 6 days due to blockage in my kidneys, kidney stones, and a kidney infection. On top of all that, I had an allergic reaction to the medicine I was on in the hospital. I was broken out in hives all over my body. Let's just say March wasn't a very good month at all.
April has been wonderful though. Things are starting to get sad around Mouse Gear because half of the CPs are leaving next month. I've made some amazing friends here and I dont think I would have made it through all of this without their support.
For all of the incoming Fall 2011 CPs, feel free to ask any questions. I will try my best to answer any questions you guys may have.
